Last Updated: Sep 3, 2026
PixelStocke respects the intellectual property rights of artists, designers, photographers, creators, copyright owners, and other rights holders. We expect all users, vendors, and contributors of PixelStocke to respect applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
This DMCA / Copyright Policy explains how PixelStocke responds to claims of copyright infringement involving content available through our website, marketplace, products, services, and other digital platforms operated by PixelStocke.
If you believe that copyrighted work has been copied, uploaded, displayed, distributed, or made available on PixelStocke without authorization, you may submit a copyright infringement notice as described below.
1. Copyright Protection
Copyright generally protects original creative works, including but not limited to:
* Photographs and images
* Illustrations and artwork
* Graphics and designs
* Templates
* 3D models and assets
* Fonts and typography
* Videos and animations
* Audio and music
* Written content
* Digital products and downloadable files
* Other original creative works
PixelStocke does not permit users or vendors to upload or sell content that they do not have the legal right to distribute, license, or sell.
2. Vendor Responsibility
PixelStocke operates as a marketplace where independent vendors may upload and sell digital products.
Each vendor is responsible for ensuring that every file, image, design, preview, description, and other material they upload to PixelStocke:
1. Is created by them or lawfully obtained;
2. Does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights;
3. Is properly licensed for the intended use;
4. May legally be offered for sale or distribution through PixelStocke; and
5. Complies with PixelStocke's applicable Vendor Terms, Product Licensing Terms, and other policies.
Vendors must not upload, sell, or distribute pirated, stolen, unauthorized, or unlawfully copied content.
A vendor may be required to provide evidence of ownership, licensing, authorization, or other rights relating to a disputed product.
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative of a copyright owner and believe that content available on PixelStocke infringes your copyright, you may submit a written copyright infringement notice.
Your notice should contain enough information for PixelStocke to identify the copyrighted work and the material that you believe is infringing.
Where applicable, a notice should include
A. Identification of the Copyrighted Work
Please provide a description of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.
For example:
* Title or name of the work
* Author or copyright owner
* Original publication or source
* Registration information, if applicable
* A URL or other location where the original work can be viewed
If multiple copyrighted works are involved, please identify each work sufficiently clearly.
B. Identification of the Allegedly Infringing Material
Please provide information that allows PixelStocke to locate the material that you believe infringes your copyright.
This may include:
* PixelStocke product URL
* Product name
* Vendor/store name
* Product ID
* Screenshot or other identifying information
* URL of the specific page where the material appears
The more specific the information, the faster we may be able to investigate the complaint.
C. Your Contact Information
Please provide:
* Full name
* Email address
* Mailing address
* Telephone number, where applicable
If you are submitting the notice on behalf of a copyright owner, please identify the copyright owner and your relationship or authority to act on their behalf.
D. Good-Faith Statement
Your notice should include a statement substantially similar to:
"I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material identified in this notice is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law."
E. Accuracy and Authority Statement
Your notice should also include a statement substantially similar to:
“I declare that the information contained in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.”
F. Signature
Please provide the physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
4. Where to Send a Copyright Notice
Copyright infringement notices should be submitted to:
Email: hello@pixelstocke.com
Subject: DMCA / Copyright Infringement Notice
Copyright Contact: PixelStocke Copyright Team
Please replace the placeholder email address above with PixelStocke's actual designated copyright contact email before publishing this policy.
5. Our Response to Copyright Complaints
After receiving a sufficiently detailed copyright complaint, PixelStocke may review the reported material and take appropriate action.
Depending on the circumstances, PixelStocke may:
* Temporarily restrict access to the reported content;
* Remove or disable the reported product or material;
* Notify the affected vendor;
* Request additional information or documentation;
* Request evidence of ownership or licensing rights;
* Suspend or restrict a vendor's account;
* Remove additional content associated with the same infringement;
* Take other appropriate action under applicable law and PixelStocke's policies.
PixelStocke may also preserve relevant information relating to a complaint where appropriate.
Submitting a copyright complaint does not automatically establish that infringement has occurred. PixelStocke may consider information provided by both the complainant and the affected vendor before making a final determination.
6. Counter-Notification
If a vendor or user believes that their content was removed or restricted as a result of a copyright complaint in error, they may contact PixelStocke and provide a counter-notification or dispute response.
A counter-notification should explain why the reported material was removed or restricted incorrectly and may include supporting evidence such as:
* Proof of ownership;
* A license or permission from the copyright owner;
* A commercial-use license;
* Original creation files;
* Purchase or licensing records;
* Other documentation establishing the right to use or distribute the content.
Where a formal DMCA counter-notification procedure applies, the counter-notification should contain the information required by applicable law.
PixelStocke may review the counter-notification and, where appropriate, contact the original complainant for further information.
7. False or Misleading Copyright Claims
Copyright complaints must be submitted in good faith.
A person who knowingly submits false, misleading, fraudulent, or materially inaccurate copyright claims may be subject to legal consequences.
PixelStocke may take appropriate action against accounts that repeatedly submit abusive, fraudulent, or knowingly false copyright complaints.
8. Repeat Infringers
PixelStocke may take action against users or vendors who repeatedly infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, such action may include:
* Warning the account holder;
* Removing infringing content;
* Suspending product listings;
* Restricting marketplace privileges;
* Suspending an account;
* Terminating an account;
* Preventing the creation of replacement accounts;
* Taking other appropriate measures.
PixelStocke may consider the circumstances of each case when determining the appropriate action.
9. Vendor Cooperation
When a copyright complaint concerns a product uploaded by a vendor, PixelStocke may contact the vendor and request information demonstrating that the vendor has the necessary rights to use, distribute, or sell the disputed content.
The vendor may be required to provide documentation such as:
* Original source files;
* Proof of authorship;
* License agreements;
* Stock asset licenses;
* Model or property releases where relevant;
* Purchase receipts or licensing records;
* Written authorization from the copyright owner; or
* Other relevant evidence.
Failure to provide sufficient evidence may result in the product remaining unavailable while the matter is reviewed.
10. Third-Party Materials and Licensed Assets
Some digital products may legitimately contain third-party elements, including fonts, photographs, textures, icons, stock assets, software components, or other resources.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that they have obtained all necessary rights and licenses for third-party materials incorporated into their products.
A license to use a third-party asset does not necessarily give a vendor the right to redistribute that asset as a standalone file or include it in a product for resale.
Vendors must comply with the terms and restrictions of all third-party licenses.
11. Copyright Ownership and Marketplace Listings
Listing a product on PixelStocke does not transfer copyright ownership to PixelStocke.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the vendor or other lawful rights holder retains ownership of the copyright in their original work.
However, vendors must grant PixelStocke any necessary permissions or licenses required to host, display, promote, distribute, process, and make their products available through the marketplace in accordance with PixelStocke's applicable Vendor Terms.
12. Removal Does Not Determine Legal Ownership
PixelStocke may remove or restrict content as a precaution while a copyright dispute is being reviewed.
Such removal does not necessarily constitute a legal determination regarding copyright ownership or infringement.
PixelStocke reserves the right to make decisions regarding marketplace content in accordance with applicable law, contractual obligations, and its platform policies.
13. Copyright Complaints Outside the United States
PixelStocke may receive copyright complaints concerning works or users located outside the United States.
Where applicable, PixelStocke may consider relevant local copyright and intellectual property laws in addition to its internal policies.
The procedures described in this policy may be adapted where necessary to comply with applicable jurisdictional requirements.
14. Other Intellectual Property Complaints
This policy primarily addresses copyright infringement.
If your complaint concerns another type of intellectual property right, such as:
* Trademark infringement
* Design rights
* Patent rights
* Personality or publicity rights
* Privacy rights
* Trade dress
* Other proprietary rights
please clearly identify the type of right involved and provide sufficient information for PixelStocke to investigate the complaint.
15. Important Notice
PixelStocke is a marketplace platform and may host content submitted by independent vendors and users.
The responsibility for ensuring that uploaded content is lawful and properly licensed rests with the person or entity that uploads or distributes that content.
PixelStocke does not knowingly authorize copyright infringement and will take appropriate action when it receives a valid and sufficiently detailed complaint.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive, limit, or replace any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
